Anyone else watch this yet? It's free on Steam.

I was actually kind of impressed. Being an older gentleman such as myself, I was surprised by the realism of the main characters. It still is hard to believe how e-sports will become as popular as depicted in the movie. The players seem to give up quite a bit of personal life to become top e-sport players and I wonder how this will translate into becoming adults or working professionals in the future.

I watched it last night, and it was interesting, but I'm not sure if it's as good as it could have been. I mean... the movie was fairly long (about an hour and forty minutes), but it felt like things sort of rushed past with only a glance. It probably didn't help that they took teams of five and really only focused on a single player from each (Hyhy, Dendi and Fear).

It's also interesting to see the difference in culture between certain groups. For example, I recall seeing a StarCraft II video about the group Complexity, and it was interesting to hear how much they push their players to ensure they have a future outside of eSports. For them, school goes first. I'd definitely recommend checking out that video.

I enjoyed it but it was overall okay.

And this comes from a HUGE dota fan who played it over 7 years.

I thought this was amazing and will be my go-to piece of content to explain what esports is and how big it's getting now. The feels at the end though.. :'(
