Well, to those that can run a 5K in under 26 minutes, roughly.

My last couple of 5Ks were between 22:40 and 23:15, so I'll be adding a new Tee to my collection.

Running is fun. :)

7 min mile and you'll be set.

We'll see if I've recovered enough from Sunday's Marathon to pull that off. ;)

Where is the link?

Oh, and it's not FREE... you still have to work for it.

That's like saying FREE WEIGHT LOSS - run a 5K!

Monetarily free. ;)

I learned something though. When you donate blood, and only eat a cup of Ramen afterwards, you can't run very well the next day.

The first half of the run went rather well, and I was able to maintain a peppy 6:45min/mile pace. After the midpoint turn around, my legs turned into dead weights and I lost all my energy. On the last 1/3 mile, I had to stop to allow a pain in my side to subside. In the end, I got one of my slowest 5K times ever, 24:39. :(

Its possible running the marathon the week prior had something to contribute to this as well, but I think the blood donation and shoddy 'meal' afterwards had the biggest impact. My vision actually had colored dancing lights in it after I did my customary last 100m sprint.

Edit - I still got a Tee shirt though. Typically, the Tees run out around the 27min mark.

I love that feeling! haha i've just started training sprints again, and after a few 100m runs everything was all blurry and the contrast between light and dark was loads!! interesting experience!
