I think for sure this is a repost but I couldn't find it any where when I searched so here it goes.

If your a retail employee at participating electronics retailers. Don't know which ones off hand.

Sign up a www.retailaccess.com and submit a scan or screenshot of your paystub to their verifications team (You can black out sensitive material).

Once verified take the current month's active symantec quiz and they will send you, free of charge, that month's free software title.

I've used this program for a little over a year now and I have recieved about 3 copys of NIS04, 2 copys of NAV04, 2 Personal Firewall 04, 1 SystemWorks 04 PRO, 1 Anti-Spam04, 1 password manager 04, 2 partition magic 8, 2 drive copy, 1 NAV05, and 1 NIS05.

There is absolutely no strings attached, you don't even pay shipping. All you have to do is take an easy 10 question quiz to get your software in the mail.

If your in retail, give it a shot!

Please note that we cannot ship your order until we receive current retail store employment verification.
You may do this by faxing a copy of your latest pay stub (one dated within the last 30 days)to Retail Access at 800-432-0585, or attach a scanned copy to an email addressed to verifications@retailaccess.com.

And what's wrong with that? This is done to keep people from signing up to abuse the program. Besides, this is FOR RETAIL EMPLOYEES ONLY! Think of it as a small reward for those who work for BB, CC, Fry's, etc. since they don't get paid very much.

Hell, even Microsoft's Retail Training site requires the same thing. As username said... things like these make working in the retail sector a little sweeter.

I understand the concern about keeping this legit but there's no f'ing way I would send them a copy of my paystub from work, legit or not! Sorry, WAY too much personal info there...

It doesn't look like you've read the rest of what Retail Access says about emailing/faxing a copy of your paystub... it basically goes on to say that you may black out any personal information. When I faxed my paystub copy in, I used a sharpie and blacked out everything about my earnings, SS#, etc... pretty much everything but my name, the company's name, the date, and my address, and they had me verified within 6 hours.

I did similar when sending it to Microsoft. I everything except for my name, address, and Company's name and address were blacked out.

Its just common sense, that all they want is to actually verify who you work for, they don't need your social or your earnings to do that.
