<< There were so many cool Horror movies to choose from when we were putting together Issue 4 that we decided to do an entire issue on Horror from the cover to the free movie! Every title in the DVD Movie section is frightening or just downright creepy. Sample some gore-fests on DVD like CHILDREN OF THE CORN 666 and the NIGHTMARE ON ELMSTREET Platinum Series Box Set. Even the In Theaters section has some spooky trailers like THE SIXTH SENSE and BATS.
Heather Field returns as your Main Menu DVDJ and host of ON THE INSIDE. Check out smart and sultry Nancy Yoon on her field trip to the home of DICK director, Andrew Fleming (she searches for the real identity of "Deep Throat" and harrasses a garden Gnome). She gives us a tour of NEW LINE CINEMA and introduces you to the creators of the Platinum Series and shows off a cutting edge group called CIVILIZATION who are doing incredible things with music video and DVD.
We went old school on the DVD-ROM video games (well two years back anyway) in the DVD Games section with a "Making Of" segment for RIVEN as well as bringing you a first look at a brand new game from Digital Leisure called SPACE ACE.
Ok, that's all yummy but I know what you're asking yourself...."What's the movie?" Are you sitting? Put that glass down....alright, its none other than one of the campiest horror classics, LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS!! Yes, the Jack Nicholson version (he's the freaky sado-mosochistic dental patient).
