last week i picked up a laptop Ibm thinkpad 600 series

4 gig hd
24x cd rom
2 pcmcia ports
1 usb port
wired 3 com nic
extra battery

they were throwing it so i yoinked it 🙂, will add a wireless card and use it for basic browsing at home and on campus.

waht are stuff you guys gotten for free from work ?
 
My dad took about 20 200 mhz lappies they were going to throw away and sold them.

He also got about 30 300 mhz boxes.

Made a pretty good profit off of them.

This was three years ago, btw.
 
I got this rack for free (I donated $5 to the childrens miracle network.) I have also gotten a $100 fire safe for a $5 donation to cmn (supposedly it didn't work, works great).
 
i've gotten lots of stuff. IDE cables, case fans, case fan plug to molex adapters, celeron CPUs w/ fans, blank CDR and CDRWs...
 
An ulcer, headaches, premature grey hair, burns from fixing the copying machine yesterday, paper cuts, a few free meals, and a psychotic ex-girlfriend.
