I kind of agree. I used to use it; it was great for scanning but I noticed a fair amount of slowdown when I used it for active protection. I wouldn't necessarily call it bloatware, but it was definitely bigger than it needed to be.

That said, I don't mind giving it another shot when it's 3 free months worth :thumbsup:

Bloatware?

Norton Antivirus or Internet Security -- NOW there's bloatware. I consistantly install SS on client's computers that are running win98/128ram/p3's with no noticable slow down. I have never noticed a slow down on any computer, and I installed it on about 500 of them through the years. I would however turn off both the startup items and favorites protection - that just gets annoying.
