Really, as long as the check shows up iin the mail.

There are people who are now waiting 18 weeks or more, and Soyo's financial ability to fulfill these rebates seems questionable. They've been doing a *ton* of rebate deals to try and move inventory in the past 3 months.

If you like to gamble, it's a decent bet, but it's far from a sure thing.

I bought my soyo board for 3 weeks from now & I am still waiting for the return rebate. I do not how long is going to take.
I bought a Kingston memory from Tigerdirect for more then 6 week now, & I still haven't received the rebate yet.
Does anyone know how's the rebate program procedure?
Thought I saw 4-6 months for Soyo rebates... Hope someone can actually chime in with experience.

Been 16 weeks since the Soyo Rebate from MWave "postmark date" ended and they are not even processing them yet. My rebate was sent a little over 5 months ago. They respond quickly to e-mail, but don't really give any guidance as to when they will fulfull the rebates. :(

Well, I pulled the trigger and got on of these boards. Put it together this weekend. I had to upgrade the BIOS to get Windows to enable Hyperthreading with my Prescott, so I had a good time installing Windows twice... Doh!

Also, I discovered that this board does not support adjustable DIMM voltage. So to my delight, the 2-3-2-5 (at 2.6V) memory that I purchased will only run at 2.5-3-3-8. Doh#2! Oh well, gives me a reason to do some hacks I guess :)

Other than that, seems to be a stable board.

What bios are you using (IE what date does it say on the POST screen?)

Did anyone ask Newegg if they will back the rebate if Soyo does not pay? When I had a problem at the infamous TD they intervened and had the rebate sent directly to my account as a credit. I would jump at this deal but I know Soyo. I once purchase a motherboard which advertised a free USB card. To make a short story shorter I never received the card. I am certain Soyo will go down the tube in an ultra competitive environment because of bad CS and other problems due to bad management. Why not buy Asus Abit Dfi or any of the great MB companies with great CS? I do and I am satsified with my purchases with those companies, even when I get a bad board.
