free software to remove camera shake from video?

Shooting video through my spotting scope with P&S camera involves hand holding the camera over the scope eyepiece. While the camera maintains focus, there's a whole lot of shaking going on. Any recommendations for software to remove camera shake? Thanks.

Maybe you can attach the camera to the scope via a Gorillapod?

Blender is open source, or FFMPEG as the article suggests. No real personal experience using either for video de-shake, though.
