I ordered twice and got the stuff once after about a week...

One of the air dusters is badass, there's some label adhesive remover that is pretty useful, and the heatsink grease is enough for every user on Anandtech...

They have some cool stuff if you're a real electronics junky also, just look

Cool deal! THanks for posting! I figure I'm legit; my company issued me a Solder kit with a iron, large stand, pivoting magnifying glass and TONS AND TONS of supplies that I will never use. I found about 20 things on that survey that would be useful to me... so I grabbed their catalog as well. I went for the heatsink greate, micro-conductive pen and Plast-n-glas (that stuff is hard to find!!!). I hope it comes, I cna use that pen on my soon-to-get Duron.

P.S. does anyone know a CHEAP source for a conductive pen suitable for Duron Over clocking? Is the RAT shack one OK?

The Radio Shack cunductive pen is ok but I would like to have a better one.
It does not flow well and hard to put down a good fine line without globs.

I've received this deal before. Got a HUGE tube of thermal grease, silicon spray, and a duster...heavy duty can and metal trigger/director.

Good luck. :D

This is a good deal if it comes through, but does anyone who got it remember how long the stuff took to arrive?

If I'm not mistaken, the silver grease is conductive while the Artic Silver is not. Myself, I'd much prefer to have the non-conductive variety.

I prefer the non-conductive too. Guess I'll go with the heatsink compound and some other things from them.

No, it's not good for overclocking.

That freeze spray stuff is just a can of compressed "coldness." Once you spray it, it comes out cold, but then it evaporates due to room temperature. I got a can from Chemtronics but it's not good for anything except for impressing your friends. (It's kinda like the compressed air stuff that comes out when you shake the aerosol a lot, or turn it upside down and spray)

I got some of that Freeze Spray. It is designed for spraying ICs when you solder/desolder them so you won't damage them with high temperatures. Chemtronics in July I think FedExed me my stuff next day air. Must of lied pretty good. ;-0

This is some funny stuff you guys post.
Freeze spray to lower temp of IC when soldering! HaaaHaaHa, that one cracks me up!

I've used most of this stuff on a daily basis. The freeze spray is used to find
temperature related problems. If a unit acts up when hot, you spray this stuff
on parts until it clears up. It can also be used to find a bad connection, as
temperature will cause expansion and contraction. For IC soldering, use the correct
temperature iron, and follow proper procedures is all you need to do. It is nearly
impossible to damage an IC when soldering (due to heat). (You would have to be
a real idiot).

The offer here is a REAL deal to us Service techs. Freeze costs about $9.00
a can, and you can go through a can on 1 repair. If you don't know what this
stuff does, please don't get it, as you might be preventing someone that does
need the free samples from getting something they use. Don't get it
"Just Because It's Free" and you can.

LMAO! Thanks Robs for saving me the trouble of typing all of that!! Buy a friggin' heat sink! (No, you don't wash away the heat in a heat sink!)
