Macy's handed out STARBURST suckers with peel-off stickers on Sat., 4/13 offering $100 giftcards and a Camry car to 1st 1,000 shoppers. The consolation prize on non-winners was the code word which, when entered on the shipping line at completion, gave free shipping until midnight, 4/27. No mention on how many times you can use it. YMMV. The special word is the last part of the brand of suckers passed out.

Macys.com has been down, but now is reported as up. I have not used this free shipping since I bought some stuff at the BM store when I got the code. Please report your success here and what you saved.

People on another forum are having problems using this code. The coupon given out does not mention a minimum purchase, I called 1-800-BUY-MACY (1-800-289-6229), customer service. She did not know about the hand-out promotion at the Macy's West Division stores. She said you should be able to out the code in the promotion code box associated with the shipping charge. She said to give them a call if there were any problems, and they would fix the shipping.
