i believe they record your IP address to restrict duplicate entries.
i ordered 2 one for work one for home because i know what the 2 proxy servers are at work :)

i hope they still have this when i get home tonight...
i want my dialup connection back

just change your home router to static ip, and assign yourself an ip "similar" to the one your isp gives you.
ping the address first -- and pick one that doesn't reply. The chance of you picking an ip of a home-user who has blocked icmp requests is probably quite small :)
that's worked for me in similar situations
