Ok... I didn't know either.

From the site:
"Our ceramic products are handmade in Safi, home
to the oldest kilns in Morocco. Potters still
create their wears as their ancestors did hundreds
of years ago. The paintings on the plates and
tajins are traditional tribal patterns of this
region. The Tajin is a ceramic dish with a cover
similar to that of the clay pots used in Chinese
and Japanese cooking and serving."
