Free screensaver creation software?

I'm looking to create a very basic screensaver that includes a few images. I basically just want it to work like a Powerpoint slideshow. Anyone know of some good free software that can do this?
 
in XP (and i'm guessing previous iterations of windows), there's already a picture slideshow screensaver. did you need different functionality?
