Free reverse phone lookup?

Tried searching for this over and over. I get to a city and sometimes a provider but never a name. Is it possible to type a phone number into a site (that you dont have to pay 20 bucks for) to find a name?

I get about 1 call a month that I have no idea who is calling me and just figure that it's a wrong number. It's always a different number it seems. Just want to look it up sometimes.

Yea... anywho got me Columbia MO but no name definately helped.

Tried that too. Gave me "Central MO" as the location and that's it.

The problem is you're trying to look up a cellphone, not a landline. IIRC you aren't going to find cell lookup for free

This is what I king of figured. Most people calling long distance are calling from cell phones or some VOIP service that isnt being tracked by those sites. Was hoping someone knew of a way to do it without paying 20 bucks.

Kind of figured it wasnt possible but thought I'd ask. Thanks for your help guys

I've been getting a restricted number every month for about all of 2008. The calls have always been the same person (or so I think) and have been escalating in severity every time. Last months include racial slurs on top of the usually "I want gay sex" stuff. I was drunk and pissy for this month's (friday night) and decided to actually answer the call. Spent 10 minutes belittling the person until they hung up. Hope this puts an end to it.

From what I understand there is no way to block restricted calls on cell phones or to find out who is calling. I would just pick up and find out who the fuck it is.
