Free replacement Glucose meters

I have a Bayer meter and was looking for the PC management software for it. When I got to the Bayer site, I discovered that they will replace an older meter free. I did the order and at no time did they request my old meter model or serial. Looks like they will replace any meter with your choice of a new Bayer meter for free. YMMV on that, but mine shipped. It makes sense as the real profit is in the test strips. If you have an older meter and your insurance isn't so great, this may be a hot deal.



 
Do you know if either of those listed will allow for testing from my arm? I'd love to give my fingers a rest.

edit: answered my own question - they both do.
 
Most insurnance plans will give you a free meter every year... abeit selection might be limited, but usually its the most modern and expensive-strips model. 🙂
