1 cartridge per 500 sheets. At my location it's on the honor system. A large stack of paper (reams?) and a collection box with a hole in the top for the cartridges.
Each customer is allowed 1 pack of paper per cartridge per day. I had six cartridges and since I just dropped $65 on refills I just helped myself to 3 packs at once on two different occcasions. No one seemed to care. Your mileage may vary.....
Excludes Canon and Epson. Paper selection may vary by store. Limit 1 per customer, nontransferable. Plus tax where applicable. Not valid on cartridges already recycled.
I went there about a year ago. I had 2 carts but they would only let me have 1 reem of paper.
I say go to office depot. If you have 2 carts they will give you 2 reems of paper. Less hassle factor. Not to mention that Office Max it quite a drive for me. OD much closer.
Yea, make sure your cartridges arn't Canon or Epson as stated by Smoking Gunn. They want cartridges with printer heads not ink tanks. Epson doesn't have ink heads on their carts so their stuff are less expensive and jam easier.
Thanks OP... I've still got 4 packs of paper from when they did this back in 2003. I do remember that they were a stickler about the 1 pack of paper a day rule.
I guess my Office Max here in Las Vegas is not as uptight about the offer as some of the others. There were no stipulations on cartridge brand at all, and as already stated, it was completely self serve/honor system.
Cool! Now I have something to do with that old ink cartridge that came with a printer that came with a 17" CRT monitor bought at a yard sale last year for $5!
