hahahaha i'll race it against my Lithium XMOD... do these tyco RCs still require their expenssive Charger kit or can you use regular Rechargable/Alkaline AA batteries?

when you click on the accessories tab, under "What you'll Need" it lists 4-pack AA batteries. so i guess you can use regular old alki or rechargables.

Just stopped into my local CC.. They were out but the CSR ordered one for me from the warehouse, said they had 2000 in stock at the warehouse.. Paid for it and he printed me the $15 rebate form. He said it should be there for pick up in the next few days..
 
"After MIR" should probably be added to the title... good find, but it isn't free as in "fill out a survey and get this magazine subscription for a year" free. 🙂 I'm swearing off rebates, not b/c I was ever burned (though that's clearly another potential pitfall), but because I hate tying up any money unnecessarily...
 
Out of stock at my store, but they ordered it and printed out the rebate form. Now to wait and see if it comes. Last time they ordered something for me it never arrived and I had to go get my money back.

Mine Corvette came in and when I picked it up I noticed that they had about a dozen more on the shelf for sale still marked at -.01. You might want to check with your local stores to see if they got any in.

MAT B5068 is the designation on the rebate form and the sales slip.
