I clicked on the more plans link and the cheapest one it showed was the $59.99 plan.

It seems the $40 plan is only there if you don't try to do a contract extension. That sucks since if I did this I would want to keep my old number.

That's lame.

Has anybody had any luck doing a contract extension without being in the 10th month of a 12 month contract or the 22nd month of a 24 month contract?

Well, I already have a family talk plan with 850 minutes. I can select the 900min plan, but it looks like an individual plan and not a family talk... anyone else upgrade that has a family talk already established?

A bit off topic, I bought a free razr with 1y contract an year ago. Now it's ended, I do not want another razr. What's other cool phone I can consider?

Wow! Is it actually possible to talk to someone from this place!

I waited on hold for about 10-15 minutes before I ever got through. I am an existing Cingular customer and had the 450 minute family plan. It cost me about $68 cause I paid extra for the 7p.m. start. So I upgraded to the 700 minute family plan for $70 and got two new razr phones. I had just extended my contract a few months ago so extending it again isn't hurting me. The only cost is the "activation fee" from Wirefly which is $18 per phone. You pay that by credit card up front.

basically for what I paid for my plan (550 mins) and the hundred I save on the phone it was worth it to me.

My issue is this: I can walk into Cingular and extend my current price plan for two years, no problem (but also not a free phone). I cannot go to Wirefly and get the phone and keep my same plan. I have to get a different plan, (since mine is no longer available to new customers) and the plan that they have at my price point is 150 less minutes. So, you are really not extended your contract as much as you are signing a new one and keeping your number. Kind of stinks that they cannot just extend your current contract.

I almost just ordered from wirefly....but I'm glad I didn't.

I highly recommend that everyone stay away from this company as well as their parent, InPhonic, Inc (at least if you're dealing with any rebate)

This company does have problems with rebates, but if it doesn't have a rebate, what is the problem? I ordered my air card from them, and am very happy. It was free with free shipping. Everything was perfect right outta the box. They set everything up with T-mobile and it arrived in 2 days. I recommend them UNLESS YOU HAVE A REBATE!!

Damn I got screwed on my Razr. I renewed my month-to-month/add-a-line contract to a 2yr with Alltel (which is ok since I will be in the area at college for the next 2 years, and its good service, less than $30/mo, and its better than the only other cell option) so I could get the "good" price on a new phone.

It's a V3C, which I hear is much better than the regular V3, but there's like V3x and V3i out now thats way better (expansion/memory card slot!!) yet I paid $212 w/ a 2yr contract for it. There's a $100 rebate but I haven't even sent it out yet plus it'll take 3 months.
