Free PS1

I read somewhere that the PSone is hailed upon by audiophiles. I guesst he playback quality is top notch.

Yeah, apparently it had some bad ass audio components, especially the RCA jacks. They were firm and provided excellent audio quality. Trick was though, is that you had to leave it on for a day or two to get the sound perfect.
 
I used my PS1 as a CD player for a while, and thinking back it did have really good sound quality.

when i saw the thread title of PS1, first thing i thought of was $$$$ grado headphone. 🙁
 
I put a mod chip in mine. Bought the mod chip about 9 years ago, decided it was too difficult to solder and forgot about it. Found the mod chip in the closet about 2 years ago and now that my soldering skills have much improved since then gave it another shot and it works great. Mine was one that came with the color corrector so I can play import games too and they display properly.
