Free program to wipe a drive

Are there any free progarms to wipe a drive. I am giving a machine away and would like to wipe the drive first. Thanks. R

Get a low level formatting tool for the hard disk manufactorer, and wipe that disk clean with 0's

Look for a util called AEFDISK.
it is only like 22k and will wipe your disk and rewrite the MBR, etc.
Plus it's free.


EDIT: For got to mention, it will wipe ANY disk, NTFS, FAT32, DOS, Linux, etc.
