Considering that HP has cornered the computer printer market for home users, I'd say they figure anything to give people incentive to print more = more $$ for used up cartridges. You can buy cheap cards for 16-20 cents a piece in bargain stores.... Maybe even cheaper. I'd say when you print it, you have to pay twice that.

This is a sweet DEAL! The cards that it makes are full paper size, so I printed them to .pdf documents. And printed 4 per page. That makes them just about perfect size.
