Sorry that we had to add the $2.00 shipping fee, we just had so many requests coming in, sometimes from the same IP. At first, we weren't sure they were real, because we were getting as many as 30 requests in a minute.

Then we learned about the post here and on DVDTalk. Sorry I attributed all of the traffic to DVD Talk, I'll update that as well.

The sampler ships in an Amaray case, not a cardboard sleeve, so the charge truly is just an accurate reflection of the S&H costs. However, if you were one of thousand or so people to get the order in before the charge was added, you *obviously* will not be charged and WILL receive the sampler.

Anyway, the purpose of this email is not so much to plug the sampler as it is to explain the addition of an S&H fee.

Thanks for your patience!

We literally had so many requests coming in that we had to stop everything else just to get them out. We had a few rattlers (discs that were shaking around inside the case), so we had maybe a dozen or so that might be waiting to go out (even though I am pretty sure they were replaced and sent out as well). With that initial rush out of the way, our turnaround will usually be within 24 hours.

We had a jump in requests over the weekend. The vast majority will go out today. I am getting a lot of emails from people who have received them, and a few that are still waiting. (you'll get them, and if you have problems, just email me).

FYI: to anybody going to the site as of today, we are starting a marketing push, and we nudged up the s&h to $4.50 allow us to use our regular fulfillment center (we had so many requests from this message board, and we were concerned that we'd be clobbered once the ads started to run). I have my theories that message board talk is probably MORE effective than paid ads. I'll let you know how it goes!

If your order was placed before the change, you are obviously not affected. Just wanted to give a heads up and an explanation. If you already placed the order this does not apply to you.
