Awesome, used to play this back in the day. Can't hardly remember a damn thing about it, though :p. I might download it just for the hell of it to see what's changed. Seeing as to how I only played it for the first 3 months it was out, it probably looks like a different world now. I hear they've changed up the map a bit to make everything more centralized (i.e. nobody was playing, and the continent was too vast), but not sure if this is true or not.

I remember the big problem when I was playing was the fact that hits were calculated on the client side, which caused you to die at random intervals because you lagged on someone's comp. I understand why it's like this, just wondering if anything's been "tweaked" to help.

I won't even go back to it for free unless they get rid of BFRs.

Planetside was the bomb. One of the best games ever created and then someone in marketing made a gameplay design decision and ruined the balance.

Sony is like a contagious disease, it was only a matter of time.

Couple weeks of casual play.

Someone could probably power level there in a weekend.

Don't really bother imo.

The fact that they make you fight the normal people just makes you fodder.

Mechs own you bad, you can hardly have enough skill points to get one type of combat mode and spend most of your time relearning different skills.

Not to mention 90% of the weapons don't even fire straight even when zoomed in and crouching. That and they still have lag issues that you cannot have in a fps type of game. Don't think you should really call it a fps but instead a spamfest since so many people jsut sit back and spam nades/motars.

Might be fun for a few days but I am level 5 1/2 after two days of light playing and can see this getting old really fast.

Good luck on getting past the learning curve to, the training missions were a waste of time for the most part even though you do get a bit of exp from them.

I hav'nt played a sony game since Infantry came "Out of Beta" I remember seeing 30-40 servers every night, now infantry BARELY breaks 5-10? They screwed themselves there.

I installed it and was ready to play and it told me to something about unlocking some files soo I said screw it and deleted it, should'nt have to unlock anything for sony >.>
