The software used is coppermine photo gallery which is FREE and very easy to install, took a whopping 9 minutes and most of that was spent FTP'ing the files to my server.

Mac OS X theme which was even easier to install.

After you have coppermine installed:
Download Mac OS X theme
Unzip to your PC
Upload the unzipped file to your server into the /themes directory
Login to coppermine admin, go to Config select Mac OS X them click update

You're done

If your server is like mine, and you limit the max number of users to 150, with 5mb of space each, you'll still end up 13556 MB between the 1st and the 17th of the month (that's this month's stats so far...). My site has used 140GB of bandwidth this year so far, including the first month that was relatively "slow".

Did you institute a no-babe pics policy? That helped keep my bandwidth under ~15gb/mo, though I had to disable registration recently because we're taking up ~3gb of disk space.

because I'm lazy (dunno how easy or difficult gallery is to install) and with the Mac OS X theme it looks very pretty.

Do you know how do I limit my max number of users in coppermine?

I instituted a no babe pics policy because of bandwidth and to adhere to dathorn's TOS and AUP, I'm not taking any chances.
