Free Pic Hosting place?

I was wondering if there are any places online that offer free picture hosting. I've seen a few places used by people here who link to pictures, but those usually just offer only 10MB free, then you have to pay for more. I don't really care much for having to pay for extra space, so is there any places that offer larger lots of space?
I realize I can make multiple accounts on those, but I feel that's abusing the service, and too irritating to keep up with everything because it's not one location.

Thanks for any info anyone has.

I'm not entirely sure how much space I'll need... just would like to get more than 10MB
I just got my new digital camera (Canon PowerShot G3) this past Monday, and each pic is right around 1MB each full sized (I can resize I know, but some I like to keep at full resolution). This isn't really a necessity, it'd just be a nice way of sharing my photos with friends rather than having to email them or send over AIM or something.

I have taken pics and when I resaved them in PSP at even the same size in .jpeg format, the file size was reduced. Have you tried that yet?

You could look at getting a domain and a webhost, too. There are lots of low-cost webhosts right now where you can get >200GB & several GB of bandwidth. And there are several fairly good and easy-to-use photo-gallery packages.

I'm using hostpc.com as a webhost, godaddy.com as domain-provider, and coppermine as my photogallery. If you want more info, you can either pm or email me.

**edit webhost provisions fixed... sorry...

I hadn't thought about trying that. My pics are at 2272x1704, at about 900k. I re-saved it in Photoshop 7 at the same size and it dropped to 628k... I also resized down to 1600x1200 and it's 284k. I'll be sure to re-save the pics I upload to save space, thanks for the tip.

If you can afford $9.99/yr you can get [/b]100MB webspace[/b] with 1GB per month bandwidth.

No domain is required, so it's a flat $9.99/yr no other hidden fees, PM me for more info.

Now that I've got some idle cash, I should really look into that. :D

heh i was wanting the same thing. when i was with attbi they had a crappy 10meg space limit. now that we switched to comcast they say we now get 50megs (havent tested it yet). 50 is enough for me. all i want is pictures for family to see my daughter! heh

hopefully comcast is 50megs. if not ineed to find a server blah

I had thought about going with the space on my ISP, but Time Warner (where I've got Road Runner cable) apparently only gives us 5MB... I think we can upgrade that, but not sure if we have to pay or whatever. I'm gonna look further into it though.

I'd highly suggest the RossMAN route. Surprisingly easy - I thought getting on Teh IntArweb would have been harder than that. And hey, it was the same price as a small bottle of Belvedere for a year's registration. Can't top that.

I bet there are some better deals than that...
