I was hoping someon knew of a free personal finance suite like Money or Quicken for Windows. I can find a bunch of them for Linux (like Gnucash) but nothing free for Windows. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Don't know of any real "freeware", but you can get $50.00 for opening an ING Direct Orange savings account (see here) with a valid MS Money license key.

You can get last year's versions of MS Money 2004 here. After mail-in rebate, you come out ahead. Better-than-freeware!

Note that the ING Direct bonus is only for new customers. I already had a savings account with them, but my girlfriend used our MS Money Delux 2004 license key when opening her account and got the $50 for herself.

Thanks, I already opened up an ING account a while back and I use Money 2005 already but I am trying to move off of Microsoft based products so I was just looking to see if there were any options for me out there.

MS Money & Quicken Basic can usually be free AR when you purchase tax S/W (Jan-April)

You could also check in FS/FT for people willing to unload a copy that they have no need for. Being free AR, you may be able to get away with just covering S/H costs.

Are you trying to avoid MS products or products that run on a MS OS? Quicken (Intuit) is not from MS and may assist you in what you desire to do.
