I bought it on 19th..i am sure i qualify for the rebate..cos I got the rebate form along with my receipt

If not available at B&M try online and go for the online express pickup option to avoid the "dreaded" shipping charges.

it works well guys....esp the record feature that lets me record all my fav songs as it plays on the radio..could also convert it to mp3.

good deal ;)

If you go to B&M and if they are out, they can do a special order for you and you still can get rebate that's what my local store sales person told me.

Just FYI, I did a D-Link rebate (purchased from CC, but the rebate was D-Link) a few months ago and it took 4 months to get my check. I usually do the free after rebate stuff but decided I didn't really need this badly enough to have to sit wondering if I was ever going to get my check (as I was with the last one).

I got one of these last Sunday. Terrible qualtiy, ugly looking and the software is the dumbest user interface I've ever seen for commerical products. If you didn't get it, don't bother even try to. It does not worth a trip to CC. I regret that I paid tax on this.

If you want to record radio to mp3's, why not just line in your radio.

If youre into complaining about free items then follow wei2cool's advice. But if you have no problem waiting for your $25, need a radio and have a good demeanor then its a good deal. I got one because it takes less deskspace than a seperate boombox, its a digital tuner (which works just fine for me) and I like free stuff.

I just use a walkman, and a cable to connect to line-in.

It can be used in any OS. Plug n Play, no software install.:D

Jason, if you receive it next Tuesday, you're not going to be eligible for the rebate.

I bought this radio at Fry's last year for 19.99 and it's worth it. It's kinda ugly, but so what. It works well for stations that are nearby or with strong signals. The software allows you to set a timer to record a station program and shut off. It also has software to compress what you recorded into MP3 files. I use it to record House of Blues or KFOG "live from the archives" programming when I can't be home to record. I tried to pick up another at the Blosson Hill CC but they were out. Free for this is a great deal!!!!

I pick out the freebies each week in the flyer 4 all 2 c, just 4 the very reason mention by some in this thread. On your way 2 CC stop off @ Staples and OD check out the clearance tables. BTW I got one works fine, but I am close to NYC. Three words FREE IS GOOD ! fire is bad :D

One thing that is bad about it (other than having to pay tax on a free item. Waaah waaah waah) is that the MP3's it records require special software to listen to. I burnt down some radio mp3 and was unable to play it on another computer without installing something off the CD. Weird...

(This all happened last year when i bought one so i dont know if the new one has improved. I believe its the exact same thing though...)

my receipt is printed today, the rebate form was printed today, so the rebate company cant tell the difference, its just i dont actually have the item in my hands, its paid for and bought today.

I was going to get in on this deal but when I checked Circuit City's site on Sun. 6-17 the rebate form said purchase must be made between 6-21 and 6-23. I emailed them and later found out they corrected it but by then were out of stock.

I got in on this last week. When I play mine the sound quality sounds terrible when playing live radio. But if I record it to a .Mp3 and then go back and listen to it it sounds great. Anyone else experiencing this?

desibaba - When you got your rebate printout - did it say it was a CC rebate, or a D-Link rebate? Where do you send it to

It is definitely a D-Link rebate, sent to Mesa AZ. Look at the CC web site and it's there.

The item is not even listed at Circuit City's website any more.

Rebate form is still there though...
