Yeah, they showed up...Tuesday or Wednesday I guess. Not much to 'em though.

I'm still waiting for them to start releasing game-branded gear that costs points to download. You know it will happen, as they already do it for themes and gamer pics.

A big +1. I want a car racing suit/helmet for my avatar via Forza 2 or Race Pro.

I wish they would release some pay clothing. If it were cheap enough, I wouldn't mind paying a little bit just to be a little different than everyone else.

As long as there are people like the above poster, there WILL be pay clothing. Personally I just dont' get it.. why anybody would want to pay for clothes for these pointless avitars. I don't mind that the avitars are there, but I certainly didn't lose sleep over them NOT being there and wouldn't consider paying for "stuff" for mine. But pay stuff is definitely on the way... where there is one willing to pay there is a thousand more right with them :)

They said they are going to release new clothes every two weeks for free for a couple of months and then start charging.

I, for one, don't understand themes. Well, I sort of do. I'm willing to pay a little bit for a theme. But most are too expensive, like 240 points (that's $3!). I did come across a Minnesota Wild theme for 50 MS points, and that was cheap enough that I was willing to get it. I really wanted a Vikings theme though...

The new themes for NXE are expensive. It's more than just a wallpaper because it has the little backgrounds for your friends on your friends list.

The older themes are still 50 points.

I'm sporting the free pre-NXE Dark Knight theme and it actually looks pretty good with NXE. I'd only pay for a good Alabama football theme.

It would be cool if they would put an online theme creator... where you specified your own colors, were able to upload graphics, etc and then it would upload your customized theme to your xbox360. They could charge like 150-200 MSP per upload... People would be a lot more likely to be willing to pay for themes that they could make just how they wanted. They could expand that to Avitar clothing as well.

I think they'll have bundled sets, not individual pieces. Maybe 120-200 for each set, which would include maybe one full outfit and 5-6 individual pieces.

Has it occurred to you guys that you're basically playing a futuristic version of Dolly DressUp?

They're not dolls! They're action figures!

Can someone please explain to me their motivation for purchasing clothing for an online barbie doll?

While I wouldn't lose sleep over the lack of Avatars either, they are present, and I'm trying to make the most of them. Plus, my brother and I play Uno occassionally, and both of us were able to get our avatars looking pretty damn close to ourselves, so it's a fun addition.

I absolutely will not be one of these people who buys clothing for my avatar every couple of weeks, but if I have the option of paying a buck for a kickass N+ shirt or something, I don't mind paying it. I should probably note that in my almost 3 years of 360 ownership, I've purchased no picture packs and maybe, maybe 2 themes.

I don't understand why everyone has to speak so negatively about the avatars and pay clothing anyway. Sure, I understand the argument of not being able to get rid of your avatar in the My Xbox section, but you're not forced to do anything else. Don't reply to my post and act as if I'm some sheep-in-the-herd noob. If I or anyone else doesn't mind to spend a dollar that took all of 2 or 3 minutes to earn, then whatever. Don't judge me.
