Hehe, somebody at BB screwed up with a competitive PM to CompUSA who has it for $20 AR. Better hurry, this deal will probably be dead by Monday. BB also has Linksys PCI NIC for $4.99 no rebate and Netgear FA311 for $9.99 no rebate.

I have this router in my home. It works well, and it has a nice web admin interface. Good deal. I got it for $30 a while back at Staples.

Overstock area? Where is that usually hidden?

Anyway, went to the south OKC best buy today and they had one left on the shelf; the shelf tag advertised free after $40 in rebates. The south side OKC now has none left.

The 2 rebates are printed out at the checkout. It's clearly written Free After Rebate in the store, so just run they are leaving fast.
A guy took the last one on front of me in the first BB i visited, then i was lucky enough to get the last one in another BB.

Verified in the Baltimore, MD area. Picked one up yesterday morning and the shelves were still well-stocked. Good luck to all.

I've had this router for 3 months now and here's my take on it.

Good:
- It's fast, supposedly uses faster hardware than D-link, Linksys, and others.
- The administration interface is easy to use.
- VPN works flawlessly.
- Didn't have to wait long for their tech support.

Bad:
- I couldn't get DHCP working with XP Pro. Not a big deal since I run servers and such which likes static better for port forwarding.
- I was hoping for more flexibility and control in the administration interface. If you're an IT guy, you're probably going to find this feature somewhat lacking. But hey, it's a home product, not an enterprise scale solution.
- Tech support guy was arrogant and condescending. But I mark this up as an isolated incident.

Overall recommendation:
****

Has anyone tried to PM this to Staples yet? I don't NEED a router, but free (except tax) with no rebates sounds pretty good.

picked one up at BB Best of West in las Vegas (had several left).

First impressions:

Router is fast! I have tried several home routers in the past and this one is fast! Now finally, I can get rid of my Clarkconnect linux machine router and switch, as this one is almost as fast.

I had no problems getting DHCP working with XP. Web based interface is pretty nice.
Easy to port forward and was up an running in a matter of minutes.
YOu can manually configure the MAC address for the router.
Nice router for free!

Just got one from the Plano, TX store. They had a bunch left at lunch time today. Don't need one right now, but a free router is good for backup when/if my 2wire finally goes out.
