I don't get it either. People support his cause because it is/was trendy to do so, not because they understand the facts of the case. I remember this coming up a few years ago.

I know nothing of the case really other than I've seen the "free mumia" stuff floating around. Care to post the text from that link so a bunch of people don't have to sign up? :)

I'm a Philly native. Philly cops have a decidedly checkered history, but the best evidence is that Mumia killed that cop in cold blood, and the whole international "Free Mumia" movement is an embarassment that is backing the wrong horse.

F'in liberals. They will jump on any 'cool' bandwagon - even if it means supporting a murderer. At least they are consistent though, you know with their support for other murderers like Castro, Saddam, and all of their brothers in arms - aka. 'freedom fighters and insurgents' around the world. Need I forget about their obsession with Che.
