Free Multifeeding Fix for HP LaserJet 1100, 6L, 3100, or 3150

I *could* KISS you! THANK YOU soooo much! I hate my printer for this!! Imagine if you had to print 25 copies of a handout for a presentation and you had to slide each sheet individually!

ohhhh the sweetness! Oh yes! And I bet the IT department at my university will love you too 😛 Not to mention the college of physics, college of chemistry, etc. who all use these printers! Score!

We have a number of HP 1100, and a couple of 6L models at my work.

All were grabbing 2-10 pages intermittently when printing.

We ordered a bunch of these kits.

for the most part it fixed, or greatly helped, the problem....on the few that it didn't we used another kit and it fixed a few more....but there are a couple that still have problems.....oh well.

my $.02

I got the same out of stock message but when I hit the continue button, I got a confirmation number and an estimated delivery date of March 13th. 😕

I love these forums for deals and more...

A couple of weeks ago, a friend here at work showed me his newest acquisition - an HP100 - and needed a cable for it. HP didn't help but I was able to find out what he needed. In the meantime, I also discovered a thread on this printer and the availability of this "fix."

I shared that with him and he stopped by yesterday and was beaming about he now has a new (for him) personal printer that works great - with the "fix."

Good work guys and gals!

I support a large company that has many 5L, 6L, 1100 and 3100 printers... I ordered 4 large boxes of these about a year ago and they have fixed many printers with Multifeeding issues. HP went through/is going through a class action lawsuit because the Seperation Pad in these models dried up - this is the solution.
If for some reason this does not fix the problem, you might want to take out the original seperation pad and re-apply a fix kit. Sometimes that will do the trick.

The 6L kit also works on the older 5L model.
Yep! Just did mine last week... Awesome!

That and picking up a coupla toner carts for $5 at the swapmeet brought my old 5L out of the closet. My resumes look much better now.

I think I posted this two weeks ago. 🙂 So it is a repost... but now more people get the info, which is good.

Got the printer (1100A). Got the problem. Placed my order.

Definitely a Hot Deal. Thanks. 🙂

Doh, I wish I saw it two weeks ago. I haven't been using my printer for two months now.
