$329.99 for a fridge. You should change your topic to free after rebate @cyberrebate. It will be couple months before you see your money back.

No it's not, that's a freaking rip-off for $329.99. They use up your money for 4 months while loaning you that Piece of Sh*t.

from what I hear there have been very few problems with people getting their rebates.. My only concern would be CR going down in flames like every other internet company has gone this year.. :p

Yes, it is true, the rebates are for real. The company (as was mentioned earlier) takes your cash and invests it for about 4 months. You then get a check for the amount you paid (usually 10-20x more than retail.)

If you have a lot of cash to buy stuff with, and want to be eventually free, go for it.

I think it makes more sense to "pay yourself," and invest your 329.99 for 4 months and then buy a fridge at Sears. My $.02

If someone is really wanting this Fridge I have one sitting right here next to me, it's a portable Mini-Fridge for your car big enough to hold a 6-pack and maybe a sandwich. Comes with the cigarette lighter adapter. Not really worth more than $300, but if you're that desperate send me a 'private message' and we'll work out a deal.

Hey all...just a suggestion...

posting "free" stuff from sites like cyberrebates isn't a "hot deal"

They have ALWAYS had free stuff like this....nothing new.

Just a friendly suggestion.

These fridges were being given away free wihtout rebate a few months ago. It was posted on this site. All you had to do was sign up for a website, which was free too.

I understand where some of you are coming from, but why don't we take another look at this situation.

I go to ebates.com. I'm automatically signed in when I get there. I go from there to CyberRebates. Now, I will receive 5% for as much as I charge. I will also receive 2% cash back from my ClickCiti Internet MasterCard.

I then look carefully though the goods. I have learned how know good from bad. I started by spending less that a thousand dollars at one time. My most recent order was for $10,000.00.

I can see how some people might not fill out the forms correctly after The Florida voting, and so some people will not get their rebate, some will forget to send them on time, and some will lose it for a myriad of other reasons.

Lets look at what I have to do for the rebate. Fill out a form, which I have the majority on a Word template I made. Take it to the mailbox.

Now I have 30 days to pay off the credit card bill. It will be tied up for two more months after that. I have received 7% on my money, and after three months I get a pile of checks equal to what I purchased because I only purchased goods that are totally free after the rebate.

I can keep doing this 4 times a year with my $10,000.00 savings. I will earn 28% interest on the money. Where else can I legally make that kind of interest? With the $10,000.00 I earned $2,800.00 in interest and the goods I got were worth about the same in real value. So I made about 50% on my money, and had a bunch of stuff to give to poor people, like camping equipment, sleeping bags, pillows, whatever.

Why do so many people make remarks to slam this company? This is a gold mine.

Seattle, for those of you who have the money to pay off your credit card while you wait for the rebate this may be a good deal, but I cannot afford to lose the cash for a few months while I wait for them to send it back...

Sounds great to me. Except for the day they pull the plug, file chapter 11 and you are out 10,000. With the sky high prices I dont know what math everyone does but they cant make enough on the money investing it to continue this. Even with some people missing the rebate. I wonder what percentage of people mess up a 300.00 rebate.

Credulus, I hear where you're coming from. I've been there many times. So this rebate deal won't work for you, that's all. But I also have to say that the majority of the deals take a long time. Staples takes at least two months, and you have to keep calling them and hassling them about your money, although they then sometimes make mistakes in your favor. The only company who can be counted on to send the checks in a month that I have noticed is Microsoft. Even Adobe software (Photoshop, Illustrator) made me call them 6 times and took over 6 months to pay.

As far as them going broke, hey, anything can happen. Look at NetZero, they used to be good, but now they suck and they are making money. All I know is that CyberRebates has been around a long time and everyone I have ever heard from has always been paid.

Say CyberGarbage DID go out of business. Could you dispute the charge with your credit card and get your money back anyway? I disputed a charge from ValueAmerica when they didnt send me a rebate after they went out of business and got my money (rebate value only)!!!

If that's the little plastic one, JCPenney has em marked down to $40, and will probably go lower to get rid of them.

IF CyberRebate were to go under, the only way you could do anything with the credit card companies is if you return the goods within 120 days of receiving them. By the time 120 days goes by, you will have a good indication that you are going to get paid by keeping an eye on the web site once a week or two. They always come up with great deals that are gone right away, so this is a good thing to do anyway.

The possibility of their going belly up is a good reason to keep the goods until you have been reimbursed. After the 120 days, you are SOL.

<< heres one for 74.99 at think geek >>

wow! think geek has lots of cool things, anyone try out their 6 Gig Personal MP3 Jukebox ? I've heard it's much better than the Nomad Jukebox, although I can't believe people spend $600 on mp3s, $600 could buy a nice cd player and a lot of cds :)
