Heh. Do you guys remember the "Free cheesecake from Omaha Steaks" deal that was posted here a long time ago? They reniged on the deal, and actually sent out e-mails accusing their would-be new customers of being thieves. Not to mention, many people commented on how much their products were overpriced. But if the possibility of getting free stuff from Omaha Steaks (I've never been a customer of them myself) appeals to you, than so much the better. I guess prevailing wisdom was/is that they are "the Bose of mail-order meats", if that analogy makes sense.

Now this would *really* be a Hot Deal, if they offered Mammoth steaks.. like in that episode of Northern Exposure. 😛

No. I would say they are similar to No Name Steaks that you can get at you local store.
 
I recently tried some Omaha Beef. You can buy better meat for much less locally, and it wont be frozen.

Not to detract from the OP, but as someone who recently was given some Omaha Beef, I thought it was pretty blah. If you have a Costco near by you can get outstanding beef for cheap. 🙂

LOL- From Onaha Steaks, I was going to guess 4 round steaks, but their prices may have come down 🙂 Thanks! Might actually do this since our freezer when kaput.
 
Omaha meat sucks and so does their cheese cake. Once you make the mistake of actually ordering they will spam, phone and mail you on a regular basis. This deal with Worst Buy is just for them to get your contact info. Do Yourself a favor Buy a frezer and meat from Costco...Pay less and keep your blood pressure down!
