Ah, yes! Vinnie was one crazy Fvckr!
I love his self-portrait progression...you can see that vangoes closer and closer to the deep edge...

I believe it was the winter of 1886 that he slipped into insanity for the first time and by the next fall he grew steadily less stable...

Edited to add: While in Paris.

Yeah, what happened??? The stupid NY Giants go and lose to the horrible Bears and it knock me out of my suicide pool. :|

Maybe coach C's hard-ass system isn't working after all?

I am a bartender, and I can honestly say that this vodka is one of the best in the world, the unflavored and raspberry are incredible. the raspberry is one of my 2 favorite vodkas i have ever tried(i don't like vodka much usually)

they also make liqeurs(green apple, dutch chocolate...) that are about as good as the vodka, if completely different.

steer clear of the vanilla, and the dutch chocolate tastes more like espresso
very smooth, mixed you probably can't even taste it, but also it's still the same price as other super-premiums, (around here like $25)

almost forgot the bottles are really cool

There are not 8,400+ martini recipes. There's exactly ONE martini recipe and it's gin with dry vermouth and an olive. Any other recipe isn't a martini, it's a fru-fru girly drink that only calls itself a martini. Sorry guys, but you're not fooling anyone if you mix Bailey's Irish Cream, Peach Schnapps and Frothee. You might call it a He-Man's Martini in the mistaken belief that we'll think you're butch, but we're laughing at you. Just face reality and order a woo-woo, a fuzzy navel or a pink squirrel.

they don't claim there are 8,400+ true martini recipes. it clearly says the CD contains martini variants.
request a free mini-CD with over 8,406 martini (variant) recipes

And actually you would be mistaken. There may be one set of true martini ingredients, but there are an infinite number of proportions in which those ingredients can be combined. So there, Mr. He-Man (and your Masters of the Universe). :p

Changing proportions is NOT a unique recipe. The martini recipe of gin-vermouth-olive is the same whether it's 5 parts gin to 1 part vermouth with a single olive, the nice dry 8 parts gin to 1 part vermouth with 7 olives or the ideal (to me) ultra-dry 12 parts gin to 1 part vermouth with 2 olives. Do you really believe 2 pizzas are made with different recipes if they're created with exactly the same ingredients, but the chef uses one extra strand of cheese on one of them?

1 oz of rum and 12 oz of Coke is a Rum and Coke.
12 oz of rum and 1 oz of Coke is rum with a splash of Coke.
Any questions?

Maybe the type of olive makes a difference. My preference:

2 ounces of Blue Sapphire, shaken with ice. Pour into a chilled Martini glass. Whisper the word "vermouth" over the glistening liquid. Add two anchovie-stuffed olives. Enjoy!!
