Free Mailing List Service?

Hey guys,

I'm just looking for some advice, hopefully I'm in the right place, it's not exactly "software".

My high school class is coming up on what should be its five year reunion but no one has kept in contact with anyone. I've spoken to a few people and our idea was to try to create a mailing list that we can invite each other to join and eventually we'd grow it to the point of having a decent percentage of the class.

Is there any free mailing list service that anyone could recommend for such a task?

Any help at all would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,

Yahoo Groups might work for this. I think once you create a group you can treat it just like a regular listserv (as in, have people email a special address to join and things like that).
