How legit is this?

Good question.

I see that it's asking for credit card info which concerns me.

From the order page:

"After the first term, all selections will continue. Each year, you'll receive a reminder notice and you authorize the account you provided to be charged the rate on the notice for the next year of issues unless you choose to cancel: 1-800-927-9578."

Sounds like it will just keep renewing unless you call the 800 number.

why two same threads

2 threads was a mistake . . double click . . . I just signed up, I went through all the fine prints. Like I said this was a reward i got for taking the time to fiil out a survey. It is probably not an open offer for everyone. I got this for doing the survey after I bought a HD at digitalhotbuy.com. I simply copied the link and checked to see if it works if you go directly to this page and sure thing it does. I myself signed up for 4 of the mags for 6 bucks. I picked one that had free shipping too. It will be totally free $0 after p/h if you choose the first 4 - $2 shipping for each of all the others. After selection hit continue and you wuill see. The only thing is you will have to cancel in one year when they send you the renuewal offer, otherwise subscription continues.

UPDATE . . . just got the confirmation and I was wrong about the first 4 on top being free shipping. They are all free but you pay $2 p/h for each - still incredible.

good deal except they wil probably charge ur account after 1 yr and u wont get anything back even after 10 millions of phone calls.

yeah, best to use a one time use CC, like Citi's virtual cards.

I've done this before. After 1st year I got a postcard with notification that they were going to charge MC for renewal. I called the 800 number & canceled with no hassle....Still, a one time use CC would be better if you've got it.

SO, WHY DON'T YOU UPDATE THE FIRST THREAT POST?

THAT WAY PEOPLE DON'T HAVE TO READ AN ENTIRE THREAD TO GET THE CORRECT DEAL?
