Free M4p converter?

I googled for it, but the only free ones I could find had ads/popups. I don't want to infect my system with that crap, so I didn't finish the install. Does anyone know of a good utility to do this? Thanks-

Foobar2000 + LAME.exe in foobar folder, set it to use LAME in the disk writer option and then right click song you want to convert and use diskwriter

I wasn't able to find the "disk writer" option anywhere. I did, however see that the MP3 (LAME) was located in the converter section. I selected it, but it still doesn't recognize M4P as a file type. If you have any idea, I'd appreciate a response. I've used Foobar2000 in the past, but never with LAME....
