Free lunch today

There's a computer hardware related club here on campus that's holding their inaugural meeting for the year today. The main selling point for the event? "FREE FOOD!"

Needless to say, I will be attending. I'm yet to see any delivery people, though. It's in this building in a bit less than half an hour - this had better not be false advertising.

Awesome, I get free lunch today too. Today is the same type of thing for the Electrical Engineering freshman at my school. I'm giving a speech, so therefore I get free food as well.

except if you're in college. free lunch at the ECE bldg every tuesday and thursday, because of meetings. if you look arnd, you can find free food at some seminar/lecture/blahblah on other days too. the only problem is that it's almost always Papa John's pizza and coke.

yup... they give a huge discount to students, so every campus organization orders from them. fun to watch 10-15 boxes of pizza being brought into a classroom/auditorium. more fun when you realize half the boxes have pepperoni pizzas. much more fun to help empty out said boxes 😀

I beg to differ. Some people didn't even bother attending the meeting - they spotted the delivery guy with the pizza and followed him right in.
