Yeah, I know Solarwinds, I've integrated our stuff (BMC Software) with their Orion monitoring suite. I also got the same email as you quoted above, but the link keeps crapping out.

If you are already using their products you should call your customer support manager and raise some holy hell!

Or just tell them that you can't get the freebie to activate and they should send it to you on disk with a manual.

Hehehe.

Nah, I'm a consultant with BMC Software. We integrated a customers instance of Orion with our tools, but I(we) don't have a SW support contract. I'm interested in this personally, as well as how useful it may be for customers who insist on some network components in Service Models, even though they shouldn't...
