Free ISP that DOESN'T block SMTP?

I've been using FreeWWWeb for the past 4 months or so. Their SMTP server has been down for the past week. I have a commercial webhosting account at pair which includes pop and relaying, but FreeWWWeb blocks port 25, so I can't use any other SMTP servers. I can't even install a server on my own computer and use that.

Will any of the free ISPs allow me to use whatever servers I want to? I've had to resort to using webmail to send email :(

Someone recommended 1nol.com, and I signed up, but they seem to be having authentification problems right now. Altavista and FreeI both, well, suck. I haven't installed any others yet because they tend to mess up ones software..

Help? Suggestions?

haven'tried. freewwweb sold out and 1nol still doesn't work.

i may just bite the bullet and go for a $10/mo pay isp. or upgrade to cable or dsl.

Is there anyway to use Pop3 on the web? I hate using Netzero for my SMTP, it takes forever to send and it always has that little signature thing at the bottom...

Rifter: how do you "run your own server"? I have the same problem with Freewwweb.com blocking port 25. I have to disconnect and reconnect to a 33.6bps connection in order to send mail. it's very annoying...
