I know everyone hates these bloated sites that offer free ipods or laptops or cameras, or whatever it happens to be.

No, I'm not a noob asking dumb questions. I'm actually curious to know if anyone got an ipod.

I know one of my friends got a free iPod, and I was wondering if any of you got one. If so, was it worth the effort?

A kid at the dinner table this evening was talking about one of those kinds of deals, everyone was very intrigued and interested and like "What, a free iPod???" I was just thinking "Oh please... ."

One of those pyramid chain sites to be honest, that set of sites is actually closed now. There's another I'm doing right now for a $250 paypal payment and am well on my way to finishing it, if you want more info send me a PM.

Yeah. Ipod 5th gen, ipod shuffle, ipod nano, sony 27" flatscreen, xbox (original). There's a forum out there that you can hit up if you want more advice.

Eh, I don't feel like paying for one... I completed my one offer and I just expected other people to help me get it lol... oh well

That's why I have a wonderful "donate" button located at my forums... so far I've gotten about $20 from 2 people... pretty sad considering the amount of bandwidth I've went through 🙁

I thought that people knew that some of them worked (some of them are just scams working off of the premise of the other ones) and that you do actually get the items. However, nothing is free, as its common to see people pay for their referrals' effort or pay them some money to do it.

I don't know how many news reports have been done validating the fact that you do get the item if you follow their guidelines and get all the referrals.
 
It's legit. The ipod stuff isnt a scam.

My friend got a shuffle, and another one got the 20gb 4th gen when it first came out. I havent' heard of anyone getting the new stuff though (i.e. nanos and video ipods).
