citibank loan.

BTW, a lower interest rate would far more than pay for many ipods over time. So make sure you are getting the best interest rate, if thats this deal then all well and good, enjoy the ipod. If its something else, go for the something else.

As Devistater said, not really worth adding a loan inquiry to your credit report or paying any higher interest, but a great deal if you are planning a re-fi anyway and the rate is good.

Thanks OP.

P.S. - There is a fee for early closure of the equity line, so you have to have it on your credit report for 3 years.

I just signed up - it is very easy if you did the on-line citibank promotion last year.

It cost nothing - and you do not need to borrow one cent!

Free closing cost - no minimum balance - no loan amt

It will be a new line of credit - so your credit info will be checked and the line of credit
will effect your credit rating - but I have a great credit rating - low debt to value / own my own house so -----

I'm getting a free ipod - for real!

I LOVE YOU CITIBANK!

now my son will give me his old free mini ipod from last year because he will claim the Nano for himself.

Thanks for the clarification.
My HELOC is at 8.625%, it'll be nice if I qualify for 7%
