Free Ipod for test drive? Trying to get more info.

I just heard the tail end of this on the radio. I think it is for the new Ford. If you have more info, please let me know and I will update this post, for better or for worse.

I have been looking all over Ford's website and don't see anything. It may have been a local thing for North Georgia?

I think it's if you purchase a new Ford vechicle, it comes with something like iroads? Anyhow, I'm fairly certain it's only if you buy a new Ford vechicle and I saw this on TV, so I guess it could be different for different markets...

no. its a alpine thing. alpine came out with the first car deck to go with the ipod. all you do is plug in the ipod to the charger and you can activate the ipod through the car deck. http://www.alpine-usa.com/

Yeah, this looks like saving money on the parts needed to plug your ipod into your alpine. My boss just did this two weeks ago. Very cool idea. HOWEVER, after installation, the adapter thing (not including the ipod) was somehwere around $250. A bit pricey for a chep guy like me.
