If you go to www.citibank.com you will see a big ads regarding an offer for free mini iPod (if you can't see it, refresh it because their banner rotates).

Offer expire on 02-28-2005, for new Citibank customer only.
- You have to sign up for their free checking account (online or on the phone)
- Deposit $2500
- Pay bill online (free) twice a month for a year

To maintain for the account to be free, you have to have a minimum balance of $1500 at anytime there or setup direct deposit.

Anyone has any experience with this offer before?

This has been posted numerous times on Hot Deals. The closest Citi bank to me is 209 miles away. I probably still wouldn't do it even if they had them all over here.

According to their site you will get the iPod within 90days of your first 2 online bill payment.
Oh and you can't choose which color of the mini iPod you will get, it's either blue or silver (luckily no pink or green). If they don't have enough mini iPod they will give you a different mp3 player with an equal value or more.

I did a quick search in the text box inside the offtopic forum and I got nothing.
Advance search returns some results tho.

That is if you get the iPod and fail to satisfy all the requirements afterwards.
