If you know any more about this let me know please.

Thanks

I dont know the validity of this, but I do know for a fact that I wouldnt want anyone from CompUSA setting up a router for me. I would even want them coming in my apartment.

Their advertising is horrible too. Lets take some actors, brush them up on some computer components, and make it look like they actually know something!

Hell if that's the case, they should just make the actors work in their store, so they can do exactly that, ACT.

You got a question for us? We'll just act like we know the answer and feed you a whole lotta BS, since you prolly don't know jack sh!t about any of it either.

That's what I gather from their wonderful advertising on tv.

haha, Linksys stuff sucks (always has for me)

They probably want to bring in a "tech" so that he can "diagnose" when something is wrong!

bwahahaha..

Joyride, I've had my fair share of crappy service from compUSA... It took them 3 whole months to get a fricken powersupply, then to cut the cake, they couldn't even put the computer case back on (this was from one of our first computers, just before warrenty was up)

Anyways, if you've seen their advertising, it's portraying actors as actually knowing something about technology (some prolly do, most wouldn't I doubt)

Besides, considering how friendly and knowledgeable their sales staff are in all stores like this, just imagine how technical the 17 year old making 6.50 an hour will be to install your router and actually make it work.

So there.
