im working on a small proj and need a free host

need:

no ads
=>500mb
=>2 databases
domain and subdomain support
hopefully reliable and fast
php support
.htaccess support
ftp support

Someone on ATOT provides free hosting for forum members, go do a search for it. Also, unless you go with the free ATOT hosting I'm going to say that you're SOL for a free host that provides all of those features free of charge.

Ya, who would set up a company that provides all that with no ads? Seems like a good way to make no money.

i meant no forced ads, some hosts allow users to place their own ads

Yeah... I would say that ATOT free hosting is your best bet, because otherwise you're looking at dropping some decent dough for those services.

Use the actual search feature (/search.aspx) because the search at the top of each forum is useless. If you use THAT search and can't find it... heh... you suck. 😛

With the included Fantastico and Installatron scripts, you can install your own photo gallery or blog with just a few clicks. You also have access to web and FTP stats to view traffic that visits your website.

All accounts include Ruby on Rails support also.

All accounts are being backed up remotely to another datacenter to preserve your data.

If you do not have a domain, you can choose to use a subdomain.

If you would like to purchase your own domain, I recommend namecheap
