I have 2 470 nvidia cards. If you send me a box with some packaging, and some cash to cover shipping (put it in the box ??). Hopefully these will be used in DC. Are they too old to be useful ?

That's very kind of you Mark. The 470 is 1/4 as powerful as a 980, but the double precision is actually nearly equal. I'd say it's quite useful still, but at 215watts TDP, a bit inefficient.

Yes inefficient but that is what Australia does.
(I mean deploying VDSL instead of Fibre directly to the house)

I got your cards today, they just came in the post. Now I need to find a motherboard that can take 2 cards. I have a box full of Core 2 Duo, I just don't have a motherboard, time to look for LGA 775 motherboards!
