you know, it's funny how only the hunters and gun owners take offense to a statement like the one i made. i'm sure others would agree they don't like shooting animals, and that would be the end of it. but hunters have to justify it by comparing it to animals that we eat for food. if hunting were the only source for our meat supply, then fine, i would accept it as our only method for obtaining meat for food. but that's not the case, and thus would be the greater of 2 evils (the other being the slaughterhouse). we all have a choice about hunting. i choose not to participate due to my own personal opinions.
yes, i'm an omnivore and like to eat meat. you got me on that one. but tell me, what do you think guns were designed to do? call me a hypocrite if it makes you feel better about being a hunter. but i hope you really take the time to think about what you are accusing me of.
if i want to eat meat, i'd definitely choose the lesser of 2 evils. i'm sorry that it has to be the slaughterhouse, but that's something that has already been firmly established in this country. are you suggesting i find a better system? btw, if you aren't hunting for the meat, but just for sport, then that's just heartless.
i'm sorry, but i have to sympathize with the dead animal with a bullet in its head, not the gun owner. please understand that this is just my opinion. my opinion causes no physical harm to anyone or any animal for that matter.
and for all it's worth, i'm only here to share deals and thank those that care to share with all of us. i'm not here to argue over a never-ending debate.
