Free Games from Xbox One

So this has happened to me a few times now. Really random timing and games.

The first game I got for free was destiny. I thought it was a glitch but it still works to this day.

Now over this past holiday weekend I got three additional games

The first one was Forza 2 with a bunch of DLC.
The next day Minecraft was there downloading
Then finally AC Unity was free.

All of these games randomly starting downloading. I never played the games before and never really had an interest in them.

Does this happen to you guys? I checked my account history on Microsoft and there has been zero transactions. This is a day 1 console if that matters.

I am more worried that I am charged for these games some how.

Do you know someone else with an Xbox One who owns those games? If so, and that person first played on your console, then it might be because of that. My brother-in-law first played on my Xbox One, so when he got his own and used his free CoD: AW downloads, they automatically went to my console.

If you don't have anyone like that, I'd MAYBE call Microsoft about it, just to figure out what's going on, make sure they're not charging you, and to make sure that they know you're not doing anything malicious.

Update:

Microsoft must have finally caught on. all the games were taken away.

Went to check my Destiny Winter gift and saw that I need to own the game. So sad.

Never got to play unity but I did get to play all the other games. I think it freed up half my full hard drive.

I'd call and complain, just for the hell of it. Tell them you're missing access to a bunch of games you had in the past, and don't know why they took it away.
