yeah, crazy good offer. Anyone that hasn't yet played these should pick them all up for free. Great games. I still hadn't picked up the 3rd one, so now I finally have it.

my back library is a lost cause lol.

Just stop worrying about it. I see all these free games as just stocking up a library of games that I can choose from next time I want a new game to play. Maybe I'll never play most of them, and that's fine! I didn't pay for them, so it doesn't hurt me.

It just makes it harder to justify buying a new game, when I have so many good games in my library already.

I agree with the overall sentiment and it sort of makes me scratch my head when people seem apprehensive toward getting the free games. "I don't really want to play that now." You may want to play it in the future; just get it now since it's free. The only downside is that it might be harder to manually find a specific game as your library grows. :p

Along those lines, I have little to no interest in survival games, but I get them anyway. I figure that I may not care now, but I might enjoy them in the future. Speaking of missing out, I did miss out on one game that Epic gave away that I would've wanted to try: Loop Hero. It'll probably be in a Humble Bundle soon enough though!

FWIW gog has always had free games. Most are not for everyone but someone may find something they like.

That's pretty much where I'm at, a bunch of these free games I've gotten since Epic started giving them away were ones I'd had on my wishlist. The only game I've bought since June of 2020 was Deus Ex: Mankind Divided last year, and that was because it was $1 used on PS4.

Edit: Actually, that was December of 2020, LOL

This spree of more or less "free" games from several sources is going to the point buying stuff sounds silly, also backlog increasing faster than play time allows...
What cheap PC gaming started a few years ago has turned into a weird situation: I'm actually buying some full price new games I really like to support the devs, they aren't many anyway, the rest can wait till it's redeemable.

I put "free" as you need Amazon here, link accounts there etc, but most is literally subscribe and click every now and then... is there a bot that does this automatically? I'm tired to be on the look out for some day-only offer and miss that single one I'd liked xD

Though, I do wonder where most of the money comes from, ok it's just software, but one day all these numbers will add up and something won't work. Devs, artists and so on still need to be payed real money... maybe there's just that much extra buffer for all to keep doing this but it sounds slightly unnerving.
Oh right, maybe games will be quickly built by AIs one day and price will be zero or a meaningless concept!

Don’t feel bad, I am sure Epic or Amazon or whomever pays for the keys they distribute for free. I am sure the keys are bought at a large discount but that’s up to the Dev to accept.
